They do best in a medium that has good drainage and dry between watering. Give them a short dryer rest after blooming.

Cattleya warscewiczii grows in northwestern Colombia and is warm to hot growing. It is fragrant and needs very bright light.

This plant in in sphagnum over peanuts in a 6 1/2-inch clay pot. There are four pseudobulbs and stands eleven inches above the pot.
