Conditions vary considerably.

Coelogyne lawrenceana grows in the Himalayas and Vietnam in mountain forests. It is fragrant, cool to warm growing and blooms some time from fall to spring.

This plant is in rock in a 3 1/2-inch plastic pot. There are twelve pseudobulbs and stands twelve inches above the pot.
