Cattleya harrisoniana grows on the coastal plains of the States of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo in humid swampy areas along the coast. It is cool to warm growing, fragrant and blooms in late summer.

This plant is mounted on a 6x6-inch piece of cork bark. There are five pseudobulbs.
