Laelia pumila grows in Brazil at elevations from 1500 to 4000 feet in swampy forests. It is fragrant, needs a dry winter rest and blooms in fall.

This plant is mounted on a 5x9-inch piece of cork bark. There 4 pseudobulbs and poor roots.
