They are bulbless epiphytes with fan shape leaves growing in extremely wet cloud forests at the base of trees.

Pescatorea cerina grows from Costa Rica and south to Colombia in wet mountain forests in low light. It is cold to warm growing and is fragrant.

05/15/2008 - Plant has died back to some extent. Cleaned up and re-potted.
