Gongora galeatea grows in Mexico in mountain rain and cloud forests. It is fragrant, needs bright light and is hot growing. Likes some dryness in winter. The genus Gongora (Gga) contains 52 species from Mexico to Bolivia and Brazil at low altitudes. These plants have mostly pendant flowers. Water and fertilize regularly.
